In the life of a university, the student is the main customer who becomes the center of all undertaken activities. It is a Bakrie University’s pride to have the chance to develop its students’ potentials to the highest stage so that they can get the status as reliable players within the global arena. Arises from the deliberation to achieve such status, students need not only education in academic manner but also development and character building and soft skills through experience based learning, therefore Bakrie University facilitates them through Bureau of Student Administration.To prove its commitment in student’s character building and soft skills, Bureau of Student Administration holds 3 (three) interconnected units in completing a variety of activities for student self-development, namely:
Counselling Unit
Counselling unit serves personal consultation related to personal problems that are faced by students beyond the learning activity and conduct counselling for students who have Grade Point Average (GPA) below average.
Student Affairs Unit
Student Affairs Unit is a unit of non-academic services that includes management of Student Organization. Presently Student Affairs unit patronage 15 Student Activity Unit from the fields of art, culture, reasoning and sport as well as other student organizations, namely Student Board, Student Senate, and Student Association of Department/Program Studies.
Scholarship and Career Development Unit
This unit handles the distribution and administration of scholarships which are given by various institutions from Bakrie Group as well as other external sources (DIKTI, etc.). In the field of career development, this unit plays a role in fostering and developing network between institutions, both in Bakrie Group and non-Bakrie Group for the purpose of Bakrie University’s graduates recruitment. This unit also conduct debriefing activities to the world of work to the students in the form of seminar, workshop, campus visit as well as the making of resume book of expectant graduates in order to be distributed to various institutions which need fresh graduate candidate at 1st strata level. Division of Sholarship Unit in Bakrie University named UB Scholarship, whilst Division Career Development Unit named UB Career.
